As always we have reviewed and updated the essential features of Redshift such as: catalogs, sky images, planetary data, sky rendering and several new guided tours. In addition we have introduced several new features:

  • New improved design, a significant acceleration of the program performance
  • New type of Solar System bodies: dwarf planets
  • More than 100,000,000 stars
  • More accurate calculation of visible coordinates of celestial bodies (incl. refraction effect)
  • 3D flight around our Galaxy
